Emma Mcenteggart

I’m a married mum of two lively girls who keep me on my toes. My eldest daughter is at Brookmead school, my youngest is here at Windmill fulltime! I have lived all over the place as my dad was in the RAF, growing up in Norfolk and the Isle of Wight to name a few, before settling in Buckinghamshire in 2002. Career wise, I have been in childcare since 2005, working in busy day nurseries, nannying and childminding. My last post was Deputy Manager of a local Day nursery as well as managing the busy pre-school within the setting. I decided to adapt my career when I had my second child and became an Ofsted registered Childminder for a couple of years, enabling me to keep up to date with my childcare responsibilities, whilst also being able to be at home with my young children in their early years.

I am Senco trained, I am the lead person within the preschool managing Senco requirements.

I am taking steps towards gaining an early years degree which I hope to pick back up and carry on with in the future when life is less hectic (if that is ever possible!)

Having been part of the committee initially, I decided to take the leap in September 2018 by taking on the role of Pre-School Manager. I am very proud of our little Pre-School and happy to be part of and  working with an incredible and enthusiastic staffing team. In my role as manager l aim to support every child, parent, carer and staff member to ensure their time at Windmill is valuable and thoroughly enjoyable.
