Funding
Windmill Pre-school is registered to receive Early Education Funding (EEF) for 3 year olds. This means that any child attending Pre-school from the term after their 3rd birthday will be eligible for Government funding, until they commence full-time primary education.
No child may claim more than 5 sessions in any week even, if they are attending more than one setting. Please let us know if your child attends any other setting.

If your child is offered a funded place, you will be asked to complete a Parent Declaration Form and bring in proof of your child's date of birth (Birth Certificate or their Passport).
Fees for Non-Funder Children
Windmill Pre-school will also accept non-funded children from the term after they are 2½ on a fee paying basis (providing we have sessions available after first admitting funded children). Fees are charged on a per session basis and are calculated for each half term.
The current fee* for a morning session for a non-funded child is:- £8.75
If you wish your child to attend Pre-school as a fee paying child, Windmill Pre-school will inform you when your child will become eligible for Government funding.
*Session fees are reviewed annually
Lunch Club
Windmill Pre-school offers a lunch club to children over 3 years of age. Lunch club takes place each Tuesday and Friday afternoons, from the end of the session (at midday) until 1.00pm. This gives your child the opportunity to eat with their friends and experience lunchtime in a school environment. You will need to provide your child with a packed lunch.
The fee for each lunch club session is:- £3.00
(This covers staff costs and extended hire of the hall)
Lunch club fees are calculated for each half term.
