Introduction

Founded in 1960, Windmill Pre-school offers care and learning for children aged between 2 ½ and 5 years. Predominately servicing the needs of Ivinghoe and Pitstone our ‘open door’ policy allows us to welcome children from the surrounding areas and beyond.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to children in our care and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for little ones to learn and develop.

Supported by Ofsted,  Early Years and Childcare Services and the Pre-school Learning Alliance, we have all the resources and assistance required to impart a warm and friendly community based facility. Working alongside the local primary school, Brookmead, means we are a natural foundation for all children during their pre-school years and the perfect stepping stone to school age. Parental support is also pivotal to Windmill Pre-school’s success and values and is therefore continuously encouraged. We aim to build a two way relationship between staff and parents with your child’s development and individual needs as our focus.
